Immediate Area

Bayble lies within the area of Point (known as the eye peninsula), which lies almost due East of the main town in the Western Isles, Stornoway. This peninsula is joined to the mainland of Lewis by a narrow isthmus. This area has much to offer in terms of walking, fishing, wildlife and beautiful scenery. A ten minute walk from the front door will take you to the beautiful Bayble beach. A ten minute drive will take you to one of the premier whale watching viewpoints in Europe. Fishing opportunities are endless and the cliff top walks are spectacular.
